Isn’t that sad?? Today I went to see a doctor, I don’t have insurance. Now I know our healthcare system is awful, but there are ways around it. I went to a Wallgreens, got checked out and paid for meds. Only set me back about $100.
Here’s how I would run healthcare. If I’m getting taxed I’d want my tax dollars to go to receiving Emergency room care. That makes sense right? Buy insurance for the checkups, meds, and surgeries. Every other country gets taxed out the ass (we still do anyway) because ALL of their care is paid for, but I don’t agree with that. To me Healthcare is not a right, but something else. We have a right to live, and we should take the responsibility to make sure we are healthy, that means contributing to society and making sure we have the means to care of ourselves and our families. No one should have to force me to pay for coverage I don’t want, and I don’t want to be taxed to pay for someone else’s care. I do feel that if you’re going to tax me 30-50% on my income I do deserve emergency care and free fucking ambulance ride!
Why are you disappointed in the tumblr terms of service? People shouldn't be bullying/sending hate which isn't part of "free speech". Free speech is expressing your opinion not putting down others. How is that bad?
That isn’t free speech and that’s the whole point. Free speech holds for both good and bad people. But everyone deserves the right to say what he wants. Also, tumblr is a private company so if you don’t like it, there isn’t much you can do about it and you checked that little box in which you agreed to the terms. Do I love tumblr, yes, will I continue to use it, yes, but once they start censoring anything, that’s when we’ll part.

I know a bunch of people on here were excited for me to make what they thought was some type of Justin Bieber documentary. That’s obviously not what I intended to do. I wanted to make a film that explored the science behind obsession as it relates to social media and pop culture, mainly pop stars.
I have had a change of heart. My real followers here know that I had a big disappointment with not getting my documentary and photo book about the remaining World War II veterans funded. I have decided I will not give up on this idea. I woke up this morning saying to myself that this is more important, not only to me but I think to society as well. There has already been a tremendous dumbing down of society thanks to pop culture and I don’t want to add to it right now, even though I think it would be fun to explore it. I want to focus on men who volunteered to sacrifice everything, their lives, to allow us to even remotely give a flying fuck about what Miley Cyrus does, or what Justin Bieber is up to.
My focus is on these people, and on my country. I intend to honor these dying men, with every bit of my drive and every part of my soul.
